Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F/232°C.
  2. Butter dish well and heat.
  3. Mix dry ingredients separately.
  4. Mix wet ingredients separately.
  5. Stir dry and wet ingredients together right before baking.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared dish.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cornbread should look like the picture when done.
