Ingredients
- 186g masa harina
- 2 happy eggs (Eggs can be substituted for gelatin. 2 tbsp gelatin to 6 tbsp hot water for me. Mix and sit, 5 minutes.)
- 453g milk
- 32g white vinegar
- 7g baking soda
- 4 tsp pickling salt
- 58g butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450°F/232°C.
- Butter dish well and heat.
- Mix dry ingredients separately.
- Mix wet ingredients separately.
- Stir dry and wet ingredients together right before baking.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cornbread should look like the picture when done.
