Ingredients
- 2 pasture-raised eggs
- 2 Tbsp heavy cream
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 2-3 Tbsp butter
- Powdered pure cane sugar (optional, for garnish)
- Light maple syrup (optional)
- Filtered honey (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 200°F (100°C).
- Whisk eggs and heavy cream together in a flat dish.
- Soak bread slices in egg mixture for 1 min per side until fully soaked.
- Melt coconut oil and butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry soaked bread slices in the pan until golden brown on both sides.
- Place cooked slices in the warm oven until ready to serve.
- Serve with optional maple syrup, honey, and powdered sugar.
