  1. Soak orange peels in 1 cup filtered water for 3 days.
  2. Drain orange water into a nonreactive pot.
  3. Add frozen raspberries to the pot.
  4. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
  5. Pour mixture through a sieve into a clean pot, pressing berries to extract juice.
  6. Add 1/2 cup sugar plus 2 tbsp to the strained liquid.
  7. Cook on medium heat for 20 minutes until reduced to about 1 cup.
  8. Cool for 15 minutes, then transfer to a jar and refrigerate.
