Fruit sauce

Ingredients
- 2-4 pints fresh berries (raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, or blueberries)
- ½-1 cup pure cane sugar
- 2-4 Tbsp purified or filtered water
Directions
- Combine berries, sugar, and water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook for 10-15 min until berries disintegrate, stirring to avoid burning.
- Line a strainer with doubled cheesecloth over a bowl.
- Pour berry mixture into cheesecloth and press through with a spoon to remove seeds.
- Discard seeds (or save for planting) and adjust sauce sweetness with more sugar if needed.
