  1. Combine berries, sugar, and water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Cook for 10-15 min until berries disintegrate, stirring to avoid burning.
  3. Line a strainer with doubled cheesecloth over a bowl.
  4. Pour berry mixture into cheesecloth and press through with a spoon to remove seeds.
  5. Discard seeds (or save for planting) and adjust sauce sweetness with more sugar if needed.
