  1. Add 1 cup of masa to your mixing bowl.
  2. Heat 1/2 cup of coconut oil on the stove until warm, then add 1/2 cup sugar. Mix to create a warm mixture.
  3. Pour the warm coconut oil + sugar into the masa and mix with a spoon.
  4. Once masa + coconut oil + sugar is mixed, add an egg and mix.
  5. Add two scoops of casein (30 grams) to the mixture.
  6. Dissolve 20 grams of gelatin in 1/2 cup of boiled water. Pour the hot gelatin into the mix; it’s okay if there’s a small undissolved clump.
  7. Add salt and baking soda if desired.
  8. Mix everything thoroughly and pour into a shallow pan.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes.
