Homemade gelatin jams

  1. In a small bowl, bloom gelatin in lemon juice.
  2. After 5-10 min add gelatin to a small pot on the stove.
  3. In the same small pot, mash the berries and honey with salt, heat to a boil, stirring frequently to avoid burning the mixture.
  4. Maintain at steady boil until thickened (about 15 min).
  5. Let cool off heat for 5-10 min.
  6. Pour your jam into glass jar (be sure to run your jar under hot water for a few minutes before adding the jam).
  7. Cover with lid and set in fridge.
