Liver, bacon & onions

Ingredients
- 6 oz (170 g) fresh beef, calves, or chicken liver
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp chopped onion
- 3-4 slices crisp bacon
Directions
- Melt butter in a medium frying pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Sauté liver in the pan until crisp, about 2 min per side; avoid overcooking.
- Serve with bacon slices or break bacon into pieces, mix with liver and onions in the pan, then serve.
- Lightly salt before serving.
