Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons of gelatin
- 3/4 cup of honey or sugar (Can use more or less)
- 1 cup of filtered water
- 3 tsp of baking powder
- Coconut oil
Directions
- Pour 4 tablespoons of gelatin into a large bowl.
- Pour in half a cup of water and stir until the gelatin is fully soaked. Allow the gelatin to bloom.
- Add half a cup of water and 3/4 cup of honey or white sugar into a small saucepan and heat on medium-high for 5-10 minutes. Stir occasionally and turn off the heat right before it starts boiling a bit. (Honey can be allergenic for some people so be aware of this)
- While pouring the honey/water mixture, begin stirring on low speed with the kitchen mixer. As you add more of the honey/water mixture to the gelatin you can increase the speed to high.
- Turn off the mixer when the mixture starts to get very thick, pour into a tray and set for about 30 minutes, in a fridge, or on a countertop.
- Rub a bit of coconut oil or butter on the tray to stop it from sticking.
- Cut into 16 squares and the macros will break down to this, one serving being 2 squares.
