Ingredients
- 1/4 cup masa
- 1 cup milk
- Pinch of salt
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together masa, milk, and salt.
2a. For microwave: Cook for 1 minute, then whisk. Cook another 30 seconds, whisk again. Repeat this process 3 times. (Total cook time 3 minutes.)
2b. For stovetop: Heat on medium-low while continuously whisking until the mixture thickens (about 3-5 minutes).
- Optional: Add sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, fruit, butter, or any desired toppings.
- Optional: If desired, add 5g of gelatin by adding another 1/4 cup of milk and cooking a little longer.
