  1. Peel the potatoes and let them soak in water for at least an hour.
  2. Once finished soaking, pour out the starchy water in the sink!
  3. Cut potatoes and boil in water with salt for about 30 minutes. If the potatoes almost fall apart when you pick at them with a fork, that means they’re done. Pour out excess water.
  4. Mash the potatoes with a fork or other tool.
  5. Add butter, milk, cream, nutmeg, pepper, and more salt to taste.
  6. Mix until the desired consistency is achieved.
  7. Top with cut up green or spring onions.
