Patty's bamboo shoots

Ingredients
- 1 can of bamboo shoots in water (no citric acid)
- Water for boiling shoots
- ½ tbsp butter
- Salt, a little for taste
- 1 tsp coconut aminos
- 1 egg, pre-scrambled or raw
- Optional: Ground beef or lamb (instead of egg)
Directions
- Rinse, drain, and boil bamboo strips in water in a saucepan for 5-15 minutes. Drain and store in a glass container.
- Melt butter in a frying pan and add ½ cup of bamboo strips.
- Add a little salt and mix until heated through.
- Towards the end, add 1 tsp coconut aminos and stir into the strips.
- Add an egg (pre-scrambled or raw). If raw, mix into the strips until cooked.
- Alternatively, instead of an egg, add ground beef or lamb for easier eating.
