It isn’t ideal but times is tough.
Ingredients
- Leftover chicken bones from wings and drumsticks (as a kid I was so broke I froze KFC bones)
- Chicken carcasses (after buying whole chickens and dissecting them at home)
- Butts of carrots
- Butts of onions
- Butts of garlic
- Bay leaf
- pickling salt
- Pepper corns/allspice (optional)
Directions
- Take all of the scraps kept in a container in the freezer.
- Put in a slow cooker with enough water.
- Leave in slow cooker on low for 9 hours overnight.
- Strain, filter, dump the scraps. Try to enjoy.
