Quick DIY condensed milk

  1. Boil water.
  2. For smoother result: Gently heat water in pan, add sugar, dissolve completely without browning or boiling hard. Remove from heat.
  3. Add powdered milk (and optional butter) to the sugar solution.
  4. Pour into blender.
  5. Blend 2-3 minutes until smooth and thick. Smells like condensed milk.
  6. If too thick, add 1-2 tbsp extra boiling water and blend again.
  7. Transfer to container while hot.
  8. Cool to room temperature; thickens more.
  9. Store in fridge up to 2 weeks.
