Instructions

  1. Rinse and chop the leafy greens (optional: stems)
  2. Place the chopped leaves in a large pot, cover with filtered water.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. After 10 minutes, when the water takes on a green hue, transfer it to a jar.
  5. Return the leaves to the pot.
  6. Cover with clean water and continue boiling for an additional hour.
  7. Discard the second liquid after boiling.
  8. Store cooked greens in glass containers/mason jars.
