Ingredients
- Purified or filtered water (enough to cover greens x 2)
- Choose any combination from:
- Spinach
- Kale
- Dandelion greens
- Beet greens
- Turnip greens
- Swiss Chard
- Collard greens
Instructions
- Rinse and chop the leafy greens (optional: stems)
- Place the chopped leaves in a large pot, cover with filtered water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- After 10 minutes, when the water takes on a green hue, transfer it to a jar.
- Return the leaves to the pot.
- Cover with clean water and continue boiling for an additional hour.
- Discard the second liquid after boiling.
- Store cooked greens in glass containers/mason jars.
