  1. Pour water and sugar into a saucepan.
  2. Heat at medium heat until it comes up to a boil, boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Let it reach 150°C. (To test without a thermometer, dip a toothpick in the syrup and put it in cold water; it should turn hard.)
  4. Attach the fruit to toothpicks or skewers. If watery, wipe them dry with some household paper.
  5. Dip the fruit in the syrup and then into cold water.
  6. Let the candied fruit cool on parchment paper.
  7. Enjoy!
